How we photograph automation stock (and why a marketplace thumbnail is not enough)
A nameplate, the terminals, the revision sticker and the housing damage - that is what a plant electrician needs before a courier leaves Hong Kong.
A plant electrician does not buy a VFD from a 45-degree hero shot. They need the nameplate, the terminal layout, the firmware sticker and whether the housing is cracked. That is why every live SKU on this site carries at least four actual-shooting frames.
We shoot square, on a clean ground, with the same orange frame and the same overlay so a returning buyer can tell our photos from a scraped catalog. If the unit is a module - Infineon, Semikron, Mitsubishi, Fuji - we include the type key on the brick, not only the carton.
