Replacing an IGBT brick: match the type key, not only the amperes
Voltage class, package, pin-out and the last suffix on an Infineon or Mitsubishi module decide whether the drive will run or fail on the first pulse.
A failed inverter or welder often still has a good control board. The repair is the power brick. Matching ā300 A, 1200 Vā is not enough: package (EconoPACK, 62 mm, dual), pin-out, isolated base and the last suffix on Infineon, Semikron, Mitsubishi or Fuji modules decide whether the gate drive and the snubber still agree.
Send the type key on the module, not only the drive model. We photograph IGBT, thyristor, diode and rectifier modules so you can read the same string we read. If the brick is obsolete, we say so and we do not invent a drop-in.
Torque the busbars to the module datasheet. A correctly matched brick still fails if the thermal paste and the clamp torque are guesswork.
